Position Requirements and Qualifications
??? ?A bachelor's degree is required with advanced degree preferred.
??? ?At least five years of professional communications experience or experience in a strongly related field. Supervisory experience or experience leading a team of professionals is highly desired.
??? ?Demonstrated knowledge of desktop publishing, web design, web site development and maintenance, accessibility standards, social media, print production, graphic design, and photography and art from the perspective of a project manager.
??? ?Must have an excellent command of the English language including professional-level writing and editing skills. Experience with communicating technical or IT information to both technical and nontechnical audiences highly desired.
??? ?Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
??? ?Must have the ability to develop effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, alumni, media, and other key publics.
This position will be available as soon as possible after the closing date and is a 12-month, full-time permanent academic professional appointment.?
